Great service and food! I got the Shepherds pie and it was beyond fabulous! I visit from Denver once per year and this needs to be a regular stop of mine in the area. If I could have given more stars, I would have. Go eat at this place. You won’t regret it.
It’s always a pleasure to write about one of your favorite restaurants. So it is with The Red Fox Inn where we’ve eaten for a number of years when we frequent the North Conway/Jackson, New Hampshire area for vacation. Excellent food and large portions coupled with warm, friendly service. The ribs are just excellent (and that’s a high compliment from someone who grew up in the highly vaunted KC area and a 45 year, Texan!) They also do lamb really well, ditto the grilled chicken. Def’n a place we’ll soon return.
It was extremely busy this morning but being able to call in and get our name on the list ready helped. The staff kept the buffet full of food and the area was kept clean. With the amount of people that were in the restaurant and the people waiting I'm sure they could be overwhelmed. They were all still calm cool and collected. The price is perfect for everyone. 8.99$ for a fantastic buffet
The service was outstanding, the food was simply incredible. We've never experienced better food at any price. The ambiance was great. The acoustics of the environment allowed for nice private chatting at your table. The wait staff was enthusiastic about their restaurant. We asked where and how they sourced their seafood, it was so wonderful. Our waiter proudly went into great detail how it all worked; he was very knowledgeable. We went two nights in a row during our stay in Jackson; that's how great it was!
Best breakfast buffet ever!! $25 total for two people with unlimited food and coffee. Lobby has an omelette station, table with strawberries,whipped cream, bread pudding, fresh fruit, muffins and pastries. A side room has one counter with meats, french toast and waffles. Other counters have warming trays of hash browns, scrambled eggs, hash, baked beans, biscuit and gravy, and warm syrups. Waitresses are attentive, coffee is excellent. Our group arrived at 7:30 AM and were seated by the roaring fire place. It gets crowded by 9 AM.
