Was at the inn for 2 nights for our honeymoon. Even though we were the youngest couples there by chance most likely we were welcomed from the moment we stepped in the door. The owner who also doubles as an amazing breakfast chef was a tremendous host and accommodated us to our every need. Food was amazing, we enjoyed our own suite and then a private cabin. With good weather a welcoming outdoor fire drew us in and the bar is fully stocked to meet anyone's needs beer, liquor or wine. Our rooms were clean with jaquizzis and fireplaces. They even moved our luggage from one room to the next which is not something we are used to, while we were exploring the valley. We plan on returning very soon!
What an amazing place to stay! Immaculately clean and so quaint and beautiful. The staff was so attentive and friendly. Breakfast was amazing! Specials everyday that were so delicious. And the views!!! We left refreshed!
Owner Steve goes out of his way to make your stay at The Inn at Thorn Hill as comfortable as possible (along with all the supporting staff)! The smooth jazz music playing in the background was soothing, the food was delicious and plentiful. Rooms were very spacious and luxourious. Loved the jacuzzi, and sitting room, along with the fireplace. Very romantic. Whether dining, sitting in a rocking chair or relaxing, the porch is the place to drink in the magnificent view. Unwind at the end of the day with a cup of tea and freshly baked cookie or enjoy a cocktail. Not sure of activities? No worries, as Steve guides you to the right adventure, considering weather factors. Didn't get the chance to try the spa services this time but can't wait come back again! My husband book us the Presidential Suite for the weekend and it was better than I ever could have imagined. As soon as we got into the Inn Nancy the inn keeper greeted us so pleasantly and politely. She was extremely helpful and kind. Steven was also very friendly and courteous to us, he gave us complimentary champagne at dinner for my birthday it was beyond perfect! The food is amazing! We ordered the lobster ravioli and the surf and turf. It was very delicious and our waitress Cassie was so funny and sweet. The room was gorgeous and the views of the mountain range were breathtaking. This weekend will be one to remember! Thank you so much to all at the Inn everyone made us feel so comfortable and at home. I highly recommend going here for a nice romantic getaway you will not be disappointed. We have stayed at other places but The Inn at Thornhill is by far the best the area has to offer.
Steve is a friendly and welcoming innkeeper. He enthusiastically and helpfully showed us around the inn. He was so nice, showing us available rooms and offering us our choice. The rooms are beautifully appointed, large, comfortable and immaculately clean. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was outstanding. The public areas of the inn are spacious and well appointed. There is a beautiful wrap-around porch with plenty of seating, overlooking a beautiful field with view. Downtown Jackson is a very short walk down the hill. Steve did everything he could to assure our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. We will be back!
